Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Controls Manager in its Nuclear Fuel group for its Hematite Decommissioning Site located in Festus, Missouri.

In this position a Project Controls Manager will be responsible for managing large projects valued at (>$20M) using integrated schedules.  Maintenance of the project action tracking system is also your responsibility. You will develop budgets, forecasts, and estimates to complete financial reporting.  You will also develop and implement Administrative & Project Control Procedures.

Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the project management systems and controls for large and complex construction projects. Ensure that project activities are performed in accordance with established project management systems. Responsible for managing deputy project managers and project controls resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a consolidated project status and financial reporting system. System must be able to integrate input from internal organizations and subcontractors and suppliers. Systems must interface with finance and accounting management systems.
• Monitor the project management systems assuring that management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of project status.
• Establish and maintain procedures and systems which will coordinate and document the information transfer between project participants.
• Responsible for providing input to estimates for proposals and on-going projects. Provide reliable overall project cost data from actual projects on which to base and/or verify on-going estimates at completion and estimates for future projects.
• Responsible for providing planning and scheduling support per project requirements.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the detail control budget against which progress can be measured and final results predicted. Responsible for monitoring project costs against the control budget.
• Responsible to provide project information to support business unit financial planning objectives.
• Select and develop project controls and management personnel. Make job assignments and supervise and direct the efforts of department personnel

Financial Dimensions:

Resource manager responsible for approximately 10 project controls and deputy project managers

A successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with typically ten years of progressive experience in cost and schedule control of large, complex engineering, procurement, and/or construction projects.

Proficiency with Primavera is expected.

Knowledge of finance and accounting systems are required. (SAP experience is a plus)

Budgetary responsibility is required.

Knowledge of business practices for international projects is a plus.

Salary Range: Band 5 $6958 - $13,275 per month
