May [Date TBA] [Full Day Program]: “Air Barriers”. A correctly designed air barrier system can significantly reduce energy consumption and operating costs. We will be presenting this program jointly with Building Enclosure Council – St.
Louis.

May 21, 2008: “Everything You Didn’t Know About Air Barriers” – Preventing Moisture Problems in Buildings:

Attendees will receive 8 hours of continuing education credit from the ABAA and CSI. The program will be held at the Engineers Club of St. Louis, 4359 Lindell Blvd., on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Doors open at 7:00 AM for on site sign in and a Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks are included in the seminar cost. The technical program will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Seating is limited to about 90 attendees so sign up early. Cost for CSI and BEC members is $100, for non members it is $125 for early registration and payment. On site registration the day of the seminar is $150 space permitting. Cancellations will not be accepted after Friday, May 16th.

Fellow CSI members and friends,

Certification Exams: The annual cycle of CSI Certification Examinations was completed on
April 5 with five persons taking the CCS, CCPR and CCCA examinations. These certification examsuse the CSI Project Resource Manual –Manual of Practice as the primary reference material for the examination. For the first time this year, the CDT examination was computer based and candidates were allowed to schedule a time for the examination during the preceeding week.
